Engine coverage is not the deciding factor
Both products track the same five surfaces: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews. Neither lists Copilot, Meta AI or DeepSeek today, and SE Visible describes Claude as coming soon (SE Ranking). If you're choosing based on which engines are covered, you won't find a difference.

SE Visible gives you four times the prompts. Tideflow's price includes content production: by the conversion Tideflow gives for its add-on packs, 100 Agent Credits create about 10 standard content pieces (Tideflow pricing). Extra credits cost $39 per 100. Tideflow's higher tiers are Growth at $199/mo (up to 3 brands, 100 prompts, 200 credits, 10 users) and Scale at $499/mo (up to 10 brands, 250 prompts, 500 credits, unlimited users). Annual billing gives two months free.
For pure tracking volume, SE Visible is cheaper. If your alternative is paying a writer or agency to produce the content, compare Tideflow against that total, not against the monitoring line alone.
If you already pay for SE Ranking
You don't need an SE Ranking subscription to use SE Visible. It's sold standalone. Existing SE Ranking customers may already have some AI tracking, since suite plans include an AI Results Tracker and an AI Search add-on includes SE Visible access. AI answers vary from run to run. SE Visible documents one check per prompt per engine per day, which means each daily reading comes from a single run rather than repeated sampling. Tideflow checks daily, but its collection and sampling method is not clear from public info. For either tool, read the trend across weeks rather than reacting to one day's score.
Before you commit to any vendor, ask three questions:
- How many times is each prompt run per engine per refresh?
- Are answers collected through the consumer interface or an API?
- How often does data refresh, and are any engines refreshed less often?
